Hi, I'm Mike. A luckcatcher is a dreamcatcher that traded nightmares for near-misses — a hoop, a web, and a four-leaf clover sitting where the bad dreams used to get stuck. That's roughly what this blog is.
I write about video games that cheat, roads that don't go where the map says, math that promises one thing and delivers another, a bathroom scale with a gambling problem, and a career that keeps working out for reasons I can't fully take credit for.
None of it is advice. All of it is true, minus the parts that are exaggerated for effect, which is most of the parts.
